Another ruffle and a neck scarf makes it a pretty trendy Monday here on ABM. There is no denying my love for ruffles (see Thursday’s post) but neck scarves are a trend I have been interested in trying for a few months. When I first saw this silk scarf at cabi’s Blogger Day back in May, I knew it had to be part of my fall wardrobe. I’m looking forward to styling it with all the fall colors and textures in a few weeks, but I decided to go with a more weather appropriate styling in the meantime. This ruffle sleeve top and neck scarf is a great summer to fall transitional look.

Fall Trend: Neck Scarves
As I mentioned, I knew this cabi silk scarf would be perfect with so many fall pieces. Does this silk scarf remind you of another famous scarf? Patterned after the famous Hermès scarf, it even has the same square dimensions! I love the idea of the neck scarf (I told my husband I felt very Parisian in this look!) but the best part of a silk scarf is that you can wear it so many ways. Whether it be like a traditional scarf, neck scarf, on your handbag, as a belt or even as a headband in your hair, it’s a great accessory for fall.
Ruffle Sleeves, Cropped Jeans & Other Accessories
I know I have been on ruffle overload lately, but I’m excited to share that this top is currently 40% off! I bought it back in the spring, you might remember it from this post with high-waisted jeans. It is an easy top to pair with jeans in spring or fall and with it’s white color, you can style it with almost anything in your closet. The zip up the back detail and higher neckline make this top a fun statement piece. To complete the look, I went with my go-to black cropped jeans (another cabi favorite) and these black sandals. These sandals are great to wear with jeans, skirts and dresses especially as we close out summer. These budget friendly, staple sandals are under $60.
I hope you all have a great start to the week. Check back tomorrow for a fun new post! Thanks for reading!
