Printed Midi Dress in Napa
Almost to the long weekend, friends! Today I am sharing my first outfit from our trip and this printed midi dress could not be more perfect for Napa. We started our vacation in Napa, drove down the coast to Santa Barbara and are still enjoying Palm Springs! I picked up this midi dress before we set out on vacation and knew it would be the perfect number for our trip and for the rest of summer, too.
Fall Layers for Work
A couple of months ago, I wore this gorgeous burgundy dress as a transitional piece (post here). I paired it with a chambray shirt for a top and skirt effect. Now that the fall temperatures have arrived, I am styling it with a light-weight long sleeve tee. This dress and tee are perfect fall layers for work.
Fall Floral Dress
Fall florals. I haven’t always loved florals in the fall, but it’s really growing on me this season. This was the last dress that I purchased ahead of NYFW and I instantly fell in love with it’s print and midi length. Although it’s technically an off the shoulder number, I decided to pair this fall floral dress with my go-to faux leather jacket for an early fall look.
Olive Green Dress
As far as I am concerned, an olive green dress is a closet staple for the fall. I do not discriminate when it comes to dresses. I’ll take a dress any season! But there is something about fall dresses that has me especially excited this year. A fall dress in a quintessential fall color, I am sold.
Burgundy Dress and Chambray Shirt
One of my favorite ways to style a sleeveless dress for a different look is pairing it with a chambray shirt. Especially this time of year, a chambray shirt allows you to still mix a little summer into a fall look. The colors in this burgundy midi dress are so vibrant, I couldn’t wait until the temperatures cooled down to share it with you! Not to worry, I will be styling it again for fall. But in the meantime, this burgundy dress and chambray shirt make for the perfect summer to fall transitional look.
