Faux Fur Leopard Vest

faux fur vest

Happy Monday, friends! Can you believe it’s Thanksgiving week? Before the craziness of Thanksgiving and holiday sales begin, I wanted to share one more non-holiday post with you. Although this vest could be styled for the holidays and the rest of winter, I am sticking with fall accessories one last time. I have always loved vests for an extra layer in the fall and winter (like the monogrammed vest from this post and the cropped faux fur vest from this post), but this faux fur leopard vest was too good to pass on when I saw it in stores a few months ago.

Faux Fur Leopard Vest

I bought this faux fur leopard vest when the temperatures were still warm and didn’t want to take a chance of it selling out. Given that the vest is thicker, I have been waiting for weeks for the temperatures to be cool enough to wear it. And here we are, almost the end of November, and this has been my first opportunity to wear it. The good news is that it is still available and is currently on sale!

Brown and black is one of my favorite color combinations, especially when leopard is involved. I decided to style the vest with this oversized turtleneck sweater, my go-to leggings and suede over the knee boots. This turtleneck sweater is from a few years ago, and although the black is no longer available, it is in stock in other colors. I linked a similar black sweater here. I love the all black sweater and leggings combination because it really allows the leopard to stand out. As for sizing on the vest, I found it to run a little big, so I sized down.

I hope you all had a great weekend! As I mentioned in Thursday’s post, I ran in a race in Annapolis on Saturday, so it was a pretty lazy weekend to recover from the race. I hope you all have a wonderful short week! Stop by tomorrow for a recipe idea for the inevitable Thanksgiving leftovers you will have come Friday! Thanks for reading, friends!

  1. That is the most chic vest and those OTK boots go PERFECT!! You look so fun and cute! May your Thanksgiving week start off right sweet friend!

  2. I think we have a few more weeks left where we can get away with just wearing vests after that it’s going to be big coats for a while! I love the pop that the animal print gives this look – so pretty! And I love the color of your OTK boots! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

  3. What a fabulous vest, girlie! You and I both share a deep love for leopard, so you know I’m swooning hard on this vest! It looks so incredibly warm and I love that it’s in a darker brown shade, which pairs beautifully with the black. I’m a huge fan of camel and black, too. It’s such a chic and classy combination. That’s awesome that you ran a race this weekend! I’m sure it felt amazing to do, but also very tiring at the end. Thanks so much for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you have the best start to your holiday week!

    XO,
