Oversized Camel Cardigan

Yesterday’s post was all about my color crush with rust for fall. But when it comes to a basic, go-to fall color combination, I will always gravitate towards camel and black. It’s an easy combination of two colors that fill my closet and I love the contrast of the two shades. This oversized camel cardigan will be a closet staple for the entire fall season.

Oversized Camel Cardigan: A Fall Essential

I don’t know about you, but I live in layers during the fall and winter. When I first spotted this oversized camel cardigan, I just knew it would be the perfect fall sweater. Oversized sweaters (or cardigans in this case) are perfect for cool, crisp days when layer is a necessity. And if you happen to find one that’s this gorgeous camel hue, that’s even better! A camel sweater can be styled so many different ways: with black jeans (as I did here), regular jeans, over dresses or even with skirts. This camel color isn’t called a neutral for nothing! Complete with a ribbed style and dropped-shoulder fit, this open-front cardigan is under $50 and also available in cream and black.

The Perfect Layering Tunic

I know. You are probably wondering how many times I’m going to rave about this tunic. I guess it shows that it really is that good! It doesn’t get much better than this tunic when it comes to layering. Not only does it pair well with cardigans, but I also love wearing it to work with blazers. And you cannot beat the under $30 price tag and color selection. Whether you are looking for an everyday, casual tunic, a tunic for layer, or a wear to work shirt, this tunic has you covered.

  1. I love camel and black, too, it’s such a chic color combination for fall. I love that you’ve incorporated a bit of white, too, with the blouse. I have that cardigan in black and cream. I was skeptical of getting the one you’re wearing because it looked a little orang-y on the model, but it looks entirely different on you and in these photos! When I saw the first photo, I was like, I have that cardi, but I don’t remember them having it in that color! Now you have me wanting it because it really is a pretty camel shade. Thanks for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you have wonderful time at the winery!
