If you live anywhere in the Northeast, I am sure you have been reaching for your favorite cold weather dinners the past few weeks. I have been rotating between crockpot meals and sheet pan dinners. Or anything else that sounds remotely warm. One of the quintessential winter dinners is chili. And whether made in the crockpot or on the stovetop, chili is one of my favorite winter dinners.
Happy Tuesday, friends! Yes, my obsession with sheet pan dinners is real. I have tried quite a few sheet pan recipes, but I think this is our favorite one yet. I have been making it once a week for the past few months because it’s so good! This Italian Chicken Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner is perfect for a cold winter night and goes well with both rice and pasta. Read More

We are getting down to the wire when it comes to picking up those last minute Christmas gifts. If you are still searching for a gift for that “hard to buy for” person on your list, homemade gifts are the perfect idea. I have made these homemade Christmas gifts with peppermint bark a few times and they are always a hit!
One of the things I look forward to most on Christmas morning are the breakfast casseroles. I know, it probably sounds crazy, but this is one of the few mornings that it seems alright to indulge in the “not so healthy” breakfast foods. My mom usually makes a french toast bake and egg casserole, both of which are fan favorites. I thought I would take my mom’s usual egg casserole recipe and make a few changes, including adding hash browns, for a different spin. The hash browns were the perfect addition! This new Christmas breakfast casserole might just be the new go-to on Christmas morning.
As I hinted at in last week’s recap of the Best Christmas recipes, I have a serious love for gingerbread. Last year, I made this Gingerbread Cake with Sugared Cranberries. It was so delicious and a fun spin on the traditional cookie. This year, I wanted to go back to the classic and share gingerbread cookies on a new level with the cutest set. They truly are the ultimate gingerbread cookies!
After a weekend full of holiday cooking, I have a few holiday recipes to share with you in the coming weeks. Tis the season, right?! But before we jump into those, I wanted to recap a few of my favorite recipes of Christmas past. From the most delicious gingerbread cake and classic sugar cookies to a fun holiday cranberry cocktail and yummy hot cocoa cookies, these are just a few of the best recipes of Christmas.
It may be difficult to think about right now, but come Friday, leftovers will be filling most of our refrigerators. Each year, I like to share a recipe that is perfect for using up all those leftovers. Today it’s all about Thanksgiving leftovers: turkey pot pie edition!
When it comes to fall desserts, pecan pie takes the cake (and pie). Pecan pie is delicious anytime of the year, but there is something special about enjoying a slice around Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to come up with a way to enjoy this favorite pie in a different way. Enter the most delicious pecan pie cookies.
