My purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale have finally arrived and I wanted to share my thoughts on my purchases. I was pretty honest about my feelings about the sale in this post. However, the majority of the few items I ordered were pretty good. Here is a recap of my NSale Purchases: The Good & The Bad.
NSale Purchases: The Good
IVL Blue Sports Bra
I have shared IVL quite a few times here on ABM, it’s one of my favorite workout brands! I have tried every style of sports bra that IVL makes, but this crossback style is by far my favorite. Super comfortable, a pretty color, and true to size! I can’t wait to wear this to OTF this week. Shop the sports bra here.
Crystal Embellished Combat Boots
I have been searching and searching for combat boots for months, but I am glad I waited for these! They are the perfect mix of combat and feminine. I can’t wait for the cooler temperatures to pair these fun boots with leggings and oversized sweaters. As for sizing, I am usually a 9.5 but I went up to a size 10. The fit is perfect, especially if you wear the boots with socks. Shop the crystal embellished combat boots here.
I bought a pair of ankle boots from this brand last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (see the picture above). Super comfortable and I love the pearl detail. Nordstrom Leopard Pajamas
I order a pair of these pajamas each Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and they never disappoint! These are the only pajamas I wear and I was so excited to add a leopard print to my collection this year. Nordstrom suggests sizing down, but I stick with my usual size. I like my pajamas to be loose. And I’m happy to report that these Nordstrom pajamas are just as soft and comfortable as they have always been! Shop the Nordstrom pajamas (available in other colors/patterns) here.
UGG Slippers
File this under another purchase I make each year during the Nordstrom sale! These UGG slippers are beyond comfortable and pretty much all I wear around the house, especially since I am still working from home. Each year, the slippers are slightly different, but the comfort level is always the same. This year’s version has a little bit more of a sole than other years. NSale Purchases: The Bad
Cropped Faux Leather Pants
This was a last minute “add to cart” and I should have skipped these. I thought it would be nice to have a faux leather pant that wasn’t a legging. However, these were a no for me. I ordered my usual size and while I would have been ok with the size, it was a little too tight for my taste. But the real deal breaker for me was the quality of the faux leather. I have seen better faux leather and this fabric came off as cheap to me.
Embroidered Dress
Richard’s brother is getting married in a few weeks and I have been searching high and low for dresses for the weekend. I thought this one was cute, I loved the embroidered detail. However, this dress will be going back. The length is quite short — as in I have tennis skirts that are longer than this dress! It’s too bad, because the embroidery is pretty. If you are shorter, it may work for you. For reference, I am 5’8.
