Happy Friday, everyone! This past weekend, my husband and I attended the Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival at George Washington’s mansion. Each year, several Virginia wineries come to the event and offer tastings of their wonderful wines. For those who have never experienced Mount Vernon, it’s a must-see on your next trip to Washington, DC! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and truly provide a great location for a fall event.
It was SO cold Saturday night. It literally felt like it was December! I thought I would definitely be warm enough in leggings, over-the-knee boots and a sweater {actually, I was afraid I would be warm in boots!} It was the beginning of October, right?! Well, needless to say we were a little cold, but we still had a fabulous time. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
