Happy Friday Eve, everyone! I told you might be seeing these leopard pumps again…I just can’t get enough of them! As I mentioned in Monday’s post, one of my favorite things about leopard print is that it can truly act as a neutral. I always love the denim on denim look, and I think adding the pop of leopard is the perfect touch — it’s neutral enough to work with the different shades of denim, yet striking enough to make a statement!

Happy Wednesday! We’ve officially made it to the halfway point of the week! Today’s Wednesday Wishes is all about a slightly new color obsession of mine: red. I’ve never been much of a fan of the color {I blame it on the fact that it was one of my school colors growing up and I had way too much of it in my closet!} but recently, I have been seeing so many red accessories I love. I even painted my toe nails red the other night which was a huge change for me. I’m all about shades of pink in the summer 🙂
This outfit inspiration all started around this striped skirt. When I first saw it, I of course loved the stripes, but the tapestry-like band at the hemline is what won me over. I feel like the skirt can be styled so many different ways, from casual to work to a night out…and everything in between! And speaking of skirts, I also have had my eye on this one…which would pair so perfectly with red, right?!
When it comes to red accessories, this lipstick is one of my favorite. It’s a super intense color that really makes your lips pop. I especially love wearing it around the holidays, but it’s also a year-round lipstick as well. And, as the name describes, this lipstick will stay onall day. No joke! You will have to scrub it off, which in my opinion, makes for a great lipstick. I don’t know about you, but I hate having to reapply my lipstick or gloss several times throughout the day!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I wanted to wear my fabulous white skirt find one last time before summer comes to an end {how is it already almost the middle of August?!} and I thought what better way to accessorize than with leopard! It’s no secret that I have a serious love with this animal print and I think it works so well with this all white and denim look! And I cannot tell you how obsessed I am with my leopard pumps — they have a shorter heel so it makes wearing them all day totally realistic! I feel like I will be wearing them a lot as we approach fall and you may even see them again later this week 😉 Leopard is a neutral, right?!

These statement earrings add just the right amount of sparkle and with the black stones, they are made for transitioning to fall. Happy Thursday, friends! One of my favorite color combinations is black and white. There is just something so chic about this monochromatic look — there is nothing like a black and white outfit with a pop of red lipstick! As you may know, I have had fall on my mind lately, so I wanted to share some outfit inspiration that is perfect for late summer and early fall.
Black and white is one of my go-to color combinations in the fall and winter, but it can be easily worn in the summer as well, especially when this cute panama hat and strappy sandals are involved! And it’s easy to take these colors to fall by swapping the panama hat for a floppy fedora and suede paneling pants — how fun are those! Although I love my open-toe booties that I wore yesterday {here’s the post in case you missed it!} the wooden heel and buckle on these is just too perfect for words!
We are officially halfway through the week! Yesterday, we spent the day at the Citi Open tennis tournament that is in DC this week. I started playing tennis when I was five years old and continued through college, so I always get super excited for this week! It brings back so many memories and really makes me miss it!
Today, I am sharing two of my favorite pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The sale may be over, but you can still purchase these items. And let me tell you, I would most definitely pay full price for this black tunic, it’s that fabulous. P.S. it’s also under $50, so it’s still a pretty good deal 🙂 I might actually have to buy it in another color, I’m that obsessed with it! I also am loving these grey jeans — they are soft and comfortable and so perfect for transitioning into fall {I found that they ran big, so I would recommend sizing down}.
For those who haven’t noticed, I am beyond ready for fall — I’m sick of this summer heat and so excited for my fall wardrobe! Especially so I can start wearing these open-toe booties more. How cute are they?! And they are on SALE! These booties were made for comfort with this chunky heel!

Just a quick post to tell you about this cute dress I wore to church yesterday. I ran to Old Navy on Saturday to pick up a few workout clothes for Pure Barre. I stopped by the clearance section really quick and found this dress on super mark down in my size! I thought it would be the perfect end of summer dress to keep cool during the last of these hot days. Can you believe it’s already Thursday?! These weeks are just flying by…how can it possibly be August 1st on Saturday?? Although yesterday I was sharing some fall outfit inspiration, there are still a few weeks of summer left and I just had to share this white eyelet skirt with you! I have been searching for the perfect white skirt all summer and had a really difficult time finding one. There is something about white skirts that seem so fresh and clean and I’ve always been attracted to them.
As you can see, I am super pale so white skirts don’t always work out so well haha! I got this skirt when it was on MAJOR sale — $16 to be exact! Knowing how I am with white, I was taking a chance {especially since it was final sale} but I figured it was such a good price, I couldn’t pass it up! P.S. It’s always fun to add a little sparkle to your outfit, especially with this embellished chambray shirt, and I could not think of a better way to accessorize than with this Zinnia West bracelet. Since it is elastic, it is so comfortable and adds the perfect amount of sparkle to a look and since it’s the “Ella” bracelet, I obviously had to have it! I am so in love with Zinnia West’s jewelry — it’s easy to dress up or dress down depending on your look and I love the subtle glitz it gives your outfit!

Happy Wednesday! As I mentioned last week, I’m really anxious for fall. I always blame it on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and how they tempt us with all those fabulous fall clothes, but this year, I’m beginning to think it’s also the weather. It has been SO hot and humid this summer, I cannot wait for the cool and crisp air of fall to arrive.
Until then, I can start planning my fall wardrobe and dreaming of these gorgeous fall colors! Leopard is definitely a neutral for me and something I wear year-round, but I especially love accessorizing with this print in the fall. And I’m predicting now that this crimson/burgundy color is going to be my go-to color for the fall months, I can’t get enough of it!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend — I know for me, it went way too fast! I had the opportunity to attend the opening of Kendra Scott’s newest location in Bethesda on Saturday! And what an opening it was. The store is absolutely gorgeous and has a prime location in the Bethesda Row neighborhood…there is even a Georgetown Cupcakes across the street!
I have always loved Kendra Scott’s jewelry, but up until now, the only place I could find it was at Nordstrom. Now with the Bethesda store and more coming to the DC area in the coming months, I am excited to see more of Kendra Scott’s jewelry around our area.
After browsing the website before attending the event on Saturday, I knew that I had to have this ring, after all, I had a personal connection with it’s name 😉 There are SO many other things that I have added to my wish list, I think seeing these pieces in person really made me love them more! I’ve included some of my favorite pieces below, and how gorgeous is the newest collection?!
