Happy Monday, everyone! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! As you may know by now, I have an obsession with leopard. Whether it is clothing, shoes or home accents…I just can’t get enough of it! Therefore, this jacket is no exception 🙂 When my mom first showed me the CAbi Fall 2014 Collection, this was a piece that was at the top of my list. I love that it is such a statement piece — it’s a jacket that just pops! It is also super comfortable and is the perfect light jacket for the fall months. Have a wonderful week!

Happy Friday, everyone! This past weekend, my husband and I attended the Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival at George Washington’s mansion. Each year, several Virginia wineries come to the event and offer tastings of their wonderful wines. For those who have never experienced Mount Vernon, it’s a must-see on your next trip to Washington, DC! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and truly provide a great location for a fall event. 



It was SO cold Saturday night. It literally felt like it was December! I thought I would definitely be warm enough in leggings, over-the-knee boots and a sweater {actually, I was afraid I would be warm in boots!} It was the beginning of October, right?! Well, needless to say we were a little cold, but we still had a fabulous time. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday! Today, I am starting a new series where I will share my “Wednesday Wishes” each week. It’s an ongoing wish list that I’m so excited about!

I am really loving purples and violets this fall. Although this color may look like spring is just around the corner, I love pairing it with leather leggings and flats for the cooler months. This “icy” purple can even be worn throughout winter — especially when incorporated with silver accents, like these earrings and ring. And aren’t these sunglasses just fabulous?!

Happy Friday! For the last category in my fall must-have series, I have decided to go with fall coats. And I think it’s fitting to end with coats because by now, you are starting to feel that fall crispness in the air. These are just a few of my favorite fall and winter coats — I am loving both the colorful and luxe-detailed coats as trends this fall. I am also in love with the wrap coat; it’s the perfect “throw-on and go” kind of coat {see #4} As you might have noticed, I have a note next to #4. Believe it or not, from the time I created this collage to writing this post, this fabulous Topshop coat sold out! I was really heartbroken because I was in love with the silhouette. There is just something about jeans and a black top that I love. It is so basic and effortless, but with the right accessories, it can be so chic! As I mentioned in Monday’s post, I am loving these new CAbi jeans. The best part about these jeans is that they can be worn so many different ways, dressy or casual. Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend! It was pretty warm here in DC, and this outfit was perfect for this fall heatwave! Denim on denim is risky. In the past, I have been skeptical of the look, but it is really starting to grow on me. Personally, I like the lighter denim top with the darker denim bottom — it helps that there are some lighter specks of color in these jeans 🙂 I also love how versatile these jeans are! I cannot get enough of these snakeskin jeans! Ever since my mom first showed me the Fall 2014 CAbi Collection {see the full collection here}, I knew I had to have these jeans. Happy Monday! What a crazy, busy weekend we have had! After a successful race and tennis tournament, it’s back to reality. After such a hectic weekend, it feels great to wear something relaxed and comfortable. This is my go-to, laid-back look: a cozy chambray with leather leggings and flats. You can’t beat this look! And throwing your hair up in a bun is the definition of laid back in my book! Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
