There are so many ways to celebrate Independence Day, whether it be at a backyard barbecue or lounging by the pool for the day. For this week’s Wednesday Wishes, I’m sharing some outfit inspiration for both! What are your plans for the Fourth and what are you planning to wear?
Happy Wednesday! Today’s Wednesday Wishes is dedicated to finding the perfect Father’s Day gift for dad! My dad is THE hardest person to shop for. He very rarely asks for anything, so most holidays I find myself in the same predicament: how will I ever find the perfect gift?!
No matter what the occasion, I am always trying to find this so called “perfect” gift. I guess nothing is ever perfect, but I try to find something that my dad really needs or something he could use, but I think that something thoughtful and from the heart is always the best route to take. My dad has done so much for me over the years, finding him a special gift is the least I can do!
I’ve included some of my favorite ideas for Father’s Day gifts above. My dad is an avid golfer and loves to workout, so I typically like to pick things that can be used for these activities. I love the idea of this Fitbit that tracks your daily activity and heart rate. It’s sporty and stylish! I am also obsessed with the folding Ray-Ban sunglasses! These would be so perfect to throw in your gym or golf bag and ideal for traveling! I need to find these in the women’s version 🙂 And for more everyday items, I love the idea of a watch or new wallet — those are things that dad always needs!

Happy Wednesday! Today, I am combining my love for fashion and home decor for this week’s Wednesday Wishes. As we approach the official start to summer, it marks a great time for a home and closet refresher. And what is more refreshing than pops of metallic to spruce up your home and outfit!
This concrete and chrome coffee table is beyond amazing and it would serve as the coolest statement piece in a living room. I have also had my eye on a gold flatware set for sometime now; I think using gold flatware is the perfect way to mix up your tabletop for summer! And how great is this golden pillow cover?! These are definitely some of my favorite items that I am currently loving for our home.
I am always drawn to metallic when searching for home decor, but it is also a color I have been craving for my closet lately! I have loved these daisy wedges for a few months now, and now that they are finally on sale it makes them even more tempting! And these mosaic-print embroidered shorts are just so cute! I am looking forward to incorporating more metallic pieces into my wardrobe this summer — it seems like the perfect season to experiment with metallic!

Happy Wednesday! Wednesday Wishes is back this week and today I am sharing a few things that are on my wish list for summer. It’s no secret I love a good summer sundress {exhibit A} and this faux-wrap dress is right up my alley! I love the idea of a wrap dress, but wrap dresses tend to have minds of their own and don’t always cooperate, if you know what I mean! Since this is a faux-wrap with the cutest tie at the waist, it’s definitely one of my favorite sundress I’ve seen this season.
I’ve also been on the hunt for a pair of open toe sandals like these. I’ve been searching for a few weeks now, and I think I have found my favorite! Here are a few other styles I have liked:
Lastly, how great are these sunglasses?! I am the first one to admit that I have way too many, but I just love the round frames! Most of my sunglasses have black frames so I think I could really use a pair of tortoise 😉

Happy Wednesday, everyone! For this week’s Wednesday Wishes, I’m sharing how to create the perfect look for a trip to the winery. I am in the process of packing for our trip to Napa and with the nice weather months ahead of us, it’s a popular time to visit wineries, so I thought I would share what I have learned about dressing for a day at the vineyard. This will be our third time in Napa, but I was totally clueless on what to wear when packing for our first trip. Here are a few things I learned:
1. Comfort is key! My husband typically has us going all day, so it’s important to be dressed in something comfortable!
2. Bring a jacket! Even though it is California, there can be some cool mornings and evenings, so throw a jacket or sweater on over your outfit. And, if nothing else, you spend a lot of time inside the wineries and it can be chilly!
3. Shielding the California Sun! On some of the tours, you will be outside, walking the vineyards. It’s a good idea to bring a hat and/or sunglasses to keep the sun off your face and out of your eyes 🙂
4. Easy to handle handbag! Be sure to bring a bag that is easy to use and convenient, like a crossbody or clutch. You will need to keep your hands as free as possible to balance the wine glass!
5. Wine Thirty! Don’t forget to bring a cute watch so you can keep an eye on the time to make it to your next winery visit or tasting appointment!

Happy Wednesday! I really have been loving the Mediterranean trend for this spring and summer. It all started with this clutch and now I am seeing more and more pieces that I have added to my wish list! I think using a Mediterranean pattern as a statement pattern is the perfect way to spice up a look! And one of my favorite aspects of this trend is all the tassels! I just love them on these fun sandals and the lime green tassel earrings are so fun and perfect for transitioning to summer! And speaking of summer, how perfect is this black and white dress for graduation parties, date nights and other summer soirees?! Today’s Wednesday Wishes is dedicated to Mother’s Day! Can you believe it’s nearly a week away?! Each year, I am always in search of the perfect gift for my mom. She does so much for me everyday of the year, I love finding her a special gift that fits a certain need or something she wouldn’t buy for herself. Although it’s never about the gift, I like to think of it as something to begin to thank her for everything she does for me and truly being the best mother I could ask for!
You can never go wrong a sweet smelling perfume or candle or even a special bracelet, but I love the idea of this Tory Burch Fitbit — so perfect for the fitness moms! I’ve also listed a few more ideas below to help with your Mother’s Day shopping. How soft and cozy does that blush robe look?!

Happy Wednesday! Now that spring is in full swing, I wanted to share with you a few of my springtime necessities when it comes to my wardrobe. What I love most about the majority of these items is that they can also be carried into summer; I always love finding multiple season items 🙂
Of all these fabulous items, my favorite spring necessity has to be my denim jacket. I literally want to wear it everyday {exhibit A, exhibit B, exhibit C}. There are so many ways to wear a denim jacket and it’s the perfect layer for the cool mornings and nights of spring. As for nail polish, my nails have been painted this blush pink since late January — I guess you can say I’ve been ready for warmer weather for some time now! I love this Essie polish because it’s super basic but it gives you a little color. And it looks great on your toes too 🙂
I love any kind of lace dress, but there is something about a white lace dress that is so crispy and clean — it’s the perfect way to welcome summer! And nothing says summer like a straw handbag! It’s the perfect accessory and can go with literally anything! I am definitely looking forward to breaking out these spring to summer items in the coming weeks!

Happy Wednesday! Alright, so most of you know that I have an obsession with pink, but lately I’ve been attracted to shades of blue as well. I’m not a fan of the color blue, but I sometimes make exceptions. Does that make sense?! I guess everyone knows what colors look good on you and what colors don’t — I cannot wear lemon yellow, it’s just awful! But I feel like I can pull off blues with my light hair and eyes, so in rare instances, I’ll break out the blue!
Anyways, when I do wear blue, I typically pair it with similar shades of blue and green, nothing too crazy. But in an effort to be a little wild {I know, right?! ha!} I paired it with it’s exact opposite: hot pink. I really love the contrast between the baby blue and the bright pink, I think it creates the perfect casual, everyday outfit but gives the look a little more pizzazz!
So, the question is: save or splurge? Although these are some pretty good “save” alternatives, I just love the splurge pumps and clutch — of course, who wouldn’t?! What are your favorite splurge and/or save items? …more pink and blue accessories to love…
