It may be cliche, but time sure does fly when you’re having fun. It’s hard to believe that today marks A Blonde’s Moment’s first birthday. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting down to write my first blog post {you can see it here}. Blogging was something I always wanted to do, but never set aside the time to do it. I was first introduced to blogging my senior year at Duquesne University where I took a Web 2.0 class that was an elective for my English minor. Little did I know how valuable that class would end up being.
Although A Blonde’s Moment has transformed a lot in a year, from sharing a few recipes and fashion pieces and the general goings-on of our life in the DC area, I couldn’t be more happy with where A Blonde’s Moment is today. It started out as something fun to do in my “spare time” and now it has become all-consuming…and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As we mark A Blonde’s Moment’s first birthday, there are a few exciting things ahead. A new website is coming soon and I cannot wait to share it with all of you. This necklace is gorgeous… I would probably pair with several CAbi tops that I own. However if I were to win..I would most likely re-gift and pay it forward to my daughter.

This necklace screams 'holiday glam' to me! I would totally wear this with my go-to red cashmere sweater (also J.Crew) for work or I would pair it up with my favorite green dress, which will be worn to almost every winter wedding I attend this season 🙂 Between this gorgeous necklace and the red holiday cups at Starbuck's (yes they make the coffee taste better) I am officially in the holiday spirit! Now…where is my Michael Buble Christmas CD?!?

Since the pink looks so great behind this necklace, I would pair it with a bright pink, flutter sleeve fall sweater that I love 🙂 Skinny jeans, brown boots with gold accent, and the look is complete!
We have a winter formal coming up at my school so I think this would look PERFECT with my blue skater dress! I'd also add in a pair of gold heels and a gold ring.

This necklace is gorgeous!!! Definitely something to wear to all my Christmas events i have coming up as well as my birthday! . It looks great against the pink background so id definitely wear it with my dark pink top, blazer, jeans and gold heels. Id also wear it to glam up all my winter dark clothes and to give the outfit something that's eye catching and that stands out! Happy 1st Birthday!!!!!!!
