I have been wearing hair accessories for as long as I can remember. From headbands to bow hair ties, hair accessories are a few of my favorite ways to accessorize an outfit. With the resurgence of headbands and other accessories, I knew I needed to dedicate an entire post to this fun accessory. I have quite an extensive headband collection, but I think I need to add this pearl headband and the gingham headband to my collection. I have this black satin turban headband (also available in other colors here) and it’s one of my favorite basic, go-with-everything headbands.

When it comes to hair bows and hair scarves, there are more dainty pieces like this tortoise bow hair tie to more statement hair scarves like this colorful patchwork one. There is something for everyone!

This post was suppose to go live last week, but after spending the entire last weekend in bed with a terrible headache and earache, I decided to go to the doctor on Tuesday to find out that I had not only a sinus infection but an ear infection, too! This is the second time in my entire life for either and to have them at the same time has been rough! Thankfully, I am on antibiotics and finally feeling better. It’s been a rough start to 2019 with illness in the McCarthy household!
