No matter what the season, dresses are my most worn clothing in my closet. Whether it’s dressed casually for the weekends or dressed up for the work week, my closet is filled with just about every type of dress. Lately, there have been so many fabulous dresses to love, I decided an entire post should be devoted to this article of clothing! I’ve been even more dressed obsessed than usual lately. Just wait for Monday’s post! Here are 3 must-have dresses for summer.

Little White Dress
There is nothing more classic that a little white dress (LWD) in the summer. While this particular dress is quite old (similar style here) I love that it is a classic that I can wear each summer. These images are from a post last summer where I talked about summer workwear. These open toe flats work well with this dress for the office, but the dress would pair well with sandals for a casual weekend outfit, too. With so many styles to pick from, there is a style of white dress for just about everyone. Shop my favorite little white dresses below.

Printed Dress
Printed dresses are some of my favorite, especially during the summer. Whether it is a floral print, or in this case a palm print, I have quite a few in my closet. A fun print is always great for the warmer temperatures, and when a dress features such bright colors as this cabi one does, it can’t help but put a smile on your face! This dress is perfect on it’s own for a warm summer day, but the bell sleeve cardigan is the perfect accessory for a cooler day or evening. Shop my favorite printed dresses below.

Gingham Dress
Although gingham could technically be considered a print, there is so much gingham in the spring and summer, I figured it deserved it’s own category! Whether you are headed to a pool party or a backyard BBQ, gingham is a go-to summer print. Gingham is always popular during the warmer months, but it seems like it’s everywhere this spring and summer. An easy, casual print that’s perfect for a warm summer’s day, it doesn’t get much better than gingham! Shop my favorite gingham dresses below.
