And while the current temperatures may not be reflecting the fall season, if you are looking for a fall dress that can be worn now, look no further. Must-Have Fall Dress

I first shared this burgundy ruffle hem dress when I did my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try on post (see that here). Given my concern with dress length, this was one of my “long shot” buys from the sale. Much to my surprise, it’s one of my favorite purchases from the sale! I am 5’8 and the length is perfect. Not only am I in love with the ruffle hem, the overall looser, swing style of the dress is cool and comfortable. A great dress for dressing in fall colors when it’s still warm. Available in a few colors and patterns, I love the versatility of the burgundy print. And you can’t beat it’s under $70 price tag.

When I shared my review of the dress from the sale, I paired it with these pumps. It was more to show what the pumps looked like on, but I think there are quite a few shoes you could wear with this number. I love the idea of making it work appropriate with a pair of flats (these are my go-to). For a transitional look, I paired the dress with my go-to open toe ankle booties (similar here). I added the aviator sunglasses for an overall edgy look. You could easily add a faux leather jacket to this look for September and October. Talk about upping the edgy vibe!
