Excuse me as I attempt to dress for the weather over here. One day I am wearing sweaters and the next it’s full out spring. However, I won’t complain because I am excited to wear spring pieces, even if it’s only once a week. If I had to pick a spring uniform to wear for casual days and even date nights, this would be it. I have raved about this top on countless occasions (most recently in yesterday’s post!) but I think I have found my favorite color yet. You know you have a problem when you own the same shirt in four different colors, but this pink ruffle top takes the cake when it comes to the best shade.

Pink Ruffle Top

Last spring, I instantly fell in love with this top and as we approach spring 2018, the love is still going strong. I purchased the bright orange color first, followed by the black, then the yellow (for the Steelers, obviously) and then finally the pink. I was a bit hesitant to buy the pink. Did I really need the same shirt in FOUR colors? After watching it for a year, I finally purchased the pink a few weeks ago. And boy, am I glad I did. It is my signature color after all! Unfortunately, it looks like the pink is now sold out. The top has been marked down to $32 and the stock is flying. It is available in more colors and prints here and a long sleeve version here. If you are interested in the top, I do have one note on sizing. Nordstrom recommends sizing down, but I am actually wearing my regular size, a medium. I like my clothes to be more oversized, so I went with my true size. But, if you want it to be more of a regular fit, I take Nordstrom’s suggestion and size down.

Spring Accessories

As I have mentioned countless times with this top, one of the reasons I love it is because it’s so versatile. It might sound crazy to be wearing sandals in the beginning of March, but it was so warm last week, sandals were completely acceptable. And speaking of items that I have raved about, these black patent leather sandals are my go-to for spring, summer and fall. I also own them in beige and pair them with dresses, skirts and jeans. With a lower heel, they are comfortable and easy to wear all day. And the best part, they are under $60!
