Happy Monday, friends! As I mentioned in a recent post, we have been busy with completing some home projects since we have been home more. Today, I am sharing a few recent finds for the home along with two of Ella’s new favorite things!

Barefoot Dreams Leopard Dog Sweater

I might not have been able to get the leopard Barefoot Dreams in my size, but at least Ella was able to! Ella is a huge fan of Barefoot Dreams and always seems to steal our blankets, so this sweater was a necessity. I actually ordered Ella a sweater from Barefoot Dreams a few years ago for Christmas, so this isn’t her first. However, the leopard print was too cute to pass on! For reference, Ella is about 16 pounds and is wearing a size medium.

Gold Entryway Chest | Framed Canvas Picture

I had shared the other side of our entryway here on ABM the other week (see the post here) but today I wanted to share the other side. I had been looking for a chest for this spot, and this is the perfect size. We take Ella out the front door, so this chest is great for storing Ella’s collar, leash, coats and sweaters, and paw wipes! This framed canvas picture was a lucky find. I had been searching online for the perfect picture online for months, and stumbled upon this one in store. I couldn’t believe the great quality and price!

Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family

I know I just shared two other books in this post, but I have added another book to my list. I have always been a fan of the royal family and have already read a few royal books over the past few years. Back in early 2020 (which seems like a lifetime ago!) I had heard that this book was being released towards the end of summer. It seemed so far off, and here we are in mid-August and the book is out! I have heard mixed reviews about this book so far, so I’m looking forward to reading it.

Barefoot Dreams Dog Bed

Ella really did well with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! I was so excited to see that Barefoot Dreams made a dog bed and knew Ella would be too. I love that the bed has an overlay that is perfect for burrowing, which is one of Ella’s favorite pastimes! She was a little confused on how to get into the bed at first, but after I showed her the burrowing option and that it was like having a blanket on her, she loved the idea! This is the size large bed and Ella is only about 16 pounds. It fits her well, but I will say I was surprised at the size of the bed. I thought the large size would be bigger.

Acrylic Frames

Since we moved into our house almost two years ago, I have been envisioning pictures going up the steps. I went back and forth on the kind, size, and even what pictures! I really loved the idea of acrylic frames since they would match the other modern decor in our house. West Elm, Crate and Barrel and other stores had a good selection of frames. I loved the look, but wasn’t crazy about the price. Then I discovered these! Priced at $25 each, these are great quality and budget friendly. These frames are 8×10 for reference.

Fiddle Leaf Tree | Planter

To complete our entryway, I wanted to add a faux tree. We have a live tree in our living room, but I was concerned about the plant getting enough sunlight. This faux fiddle leaf tree is great quality and really looks real! I have loved this planter for years, and was so excited I finally had an excuse to buy it. We have a lot of gold accents throughout our house, especially in the entryway, and this planter is perfect for the space. For reference, this is the 5.4 ft. fiddle leaf tree.

Barefoot Dreams Blanket

I swear, we have to be Barefoot Dreams best customers. Oops! We have quite a few of the Barefoot Dreams blankets around the house, but the last place I wanted to add a blanket to was our master bedroom. And the colors in this blanket are the perfect match for our bedroom. It was funny, the first night I put the blanket on our bed, I put Ella up on the bed, and she went right to it and sat down. Mind you, she has plenty of Barefoot Dreams of her own (including her own blanket) but she went right to the new one haha! She’s one smart girl!
