Ever since I shared this Peach Caprese Salad, I’ve been craving peaches. Summer is the season for them after all! A few weeks ago, I was dreaming of the Southern Peach Cake I shared with you last summer trying to think of a way to enjoy a peach dessert without all the calories. Enter these grilled peaches with vanilla ice and a delicious cinnamon sauce. The perfect summer dessert and an excuse to fire up your grill for something other than hamburgers!
Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream
When I shared the Peach Caprese recipe a few months ago, it was pretty difficult to find peaches. But now that peach season is in full swing, I thought it was time to share another summer peach dessert. I made these a few weeks ago and couldn’t get over the flavor. The grill adds an almost smoky flavor to the peaches and softens them just enough. It almost reminds me of an apple dumpling! I topped the grilled peach with my favorite “better for you” vanilla bean ice cream Halo Top and a delicious cinnamon sauce that would be amazing on it’s own! If you love Halo Top ice cream as much as I do, check out this Frozen S’mores recipe using Halo Top ice cream from last summer!
Check out this delicious and relatively healthy summer dessert below. Happy grilling, friends!

- Preheat the grill over medium heat. Once the peaches are halved and the pit has been removed, brush the peach with olive oil. Place the peach cut-side down on the grill for 5 minutes, or until grill marks begin to appear. Flip the peaches so they are cut-side up and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until just tender. Top the peaches with Halo Top vanilla bean ice cream, or other favorite, and drizzle with the cinnamon sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Mix until combined. Place in the microwave for 20 seconds, or until completely melted into a sauce. Drizzle over the peach and ice cream. Serve immediately and enjoy.

I’m totally going to show this to Chris tonight! He’s been eating peaches like crazy lately, and this would turn it into the perfect dessert for him, although it’s a little less healthy than what he’s going for.
