Happy Wednesday and welcome back, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Nothing like jumping into the next holiday with a festive drink for New Year’s Eve: a raspberry sorbet mocktail.
Raspberry Sorbet Mocktail
As crazy as it was to talk about Christmas coming so quickly last week, it’s even more difficult to believe that 2018 is just a few days away. (If you are still planning out your outfit, last week I shared some New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration here and tomorrow I’ll be rounding up my favorite outfits that would be perfect for celebrating.) No matter where your plans take you on New Year’s Eve, it’s always a good idea to have a festive drink in hand to ring in the new year. Although this drink would work just as well with champagne or sparkling wine, I decided to go with sparkling grape juice for a different spin. I’m not a huge fan of champagne (I just don’t like all the bubbles!) so the grape juice was a good option for me.
These drinks are easy enough to make for a crowd but also work if you have a low-key New Year’s Eve planned at home. I used raspberry sorbet because it’s one of my favorites, but you can change up the sorbet if you would like. It’s a super refreshing drink that could even act as a dessert, too! I garnished each drink with raspberries on the cutest jingle bell cocktails picks. While I was putting these drinks together, the bell kept jingling as I was trying to put the raspberries on. Ella is not a fan of these sorts of bells (she thinks they are other dogs or even worse, cats!) and she was having an absolute fit barking and running around the house! It’s a good thing we only take these out once a year!
Check out this easy and fun New Year’s Eve recipe below. And feel free to add champagne 🙂
