Happy Fourth of July week, friends! This red polka dot dress has been on repeat this spring and summer and I was waiting to share it with all of you. The week of the Fourth of July seemed perfectly appropriate!

Red Polka Dot Dress
A few years ago, I shared this exact dress in a different color. You can see that post here. It’s one of my most comfortable spring and summer dresses and I love that it can be dressed up with sandals or dressed down with espadrilles and a denim jacket. A super versatile dress for the warmer months!
Although it is suggested to size down if you are in between sizes, I stuck with my normal medium size in this dress and the one I purchased a few years ago. I actually ordered the small, but found that it was too tight across my shoulders. Those broad tennis shoulders strike again haha! I also added a camisole under the dress because it was a little low cut for me.
Summer Accessories
As for accessories, I paired this red polka dot dress with these woven wedge sandals. I had been searching for a pair to replace another pair of woven sandals from years ago. After searching for three summers, I finally landed on these and I love them! Also available in black, these go-to summer sandals are under $60! I also added this white crossbody. It’s one of my favorite summer bags and you can’t beat it’s under $30 price tag.

This dress could NOT be more perfectly patriotic for the 4th! I may just recreate this look next year, I love it so much. Polka dots in red and white always make me happy.
