Happy Monday, friends! It feels a bit odd to be talking about one of my favorite winter coats after temperatures were in the 60s and 70s this past weekend. However, I guess these warm temperatures in January are quite odd, too! Let’s just pretend that we are experiencing typical January temperatures as we talk about this red winter coat and my favorite winter accessory.

Red Winter Coat
I have had this red winter coat for a few years now (see how I styled it the first time on ABM here). Although it is my go-to coat to wear during the holiday season for obvious reasons, I also love to wear it pre- and post-holiday season, too. Styling this red winter coat with a camel turtleneck, black jeans and leopard ankle booties make it a little less holiday-like. Although my red coat is from a few years ago, it is still available in an updated style. It looks like the pockets are a little different on the new version. It is also available in other colors if red isn’t your thing!
Two other items to note in today’s outfit: This balloon sleeve turtleneck has been a favorite of mine for over a year. I just had to take the coat off so you could see the cute sleeve detail! As for sizing, I sized up so it would be a little more oversized. Also, the larger size helped with the length. I’m 5’8 for reference.
Last, but certainly not least, these cute mittens! I know mittens aren’t super functional, but when they are this cute, you find reasons to wear them! The “hi y’all” and “bye y’all” sayings on these mittens is just too adorable.
