It’s hard to find more of a closet staple than a black dress. A black dress is a necessity no matter what season, but if you are looking to add one to your summer collection, I have found the perfect one! Summer Black Maxi Dress
This summer black maxi dress was another dress that I took to California that I didn’t get a chance to wear. Thank goodness for it’s versatility! Not only can this dress be worn just about all year round (just add a jacket for the spring and fall!) but you can actually adjust the straps so there is a v-neck in the front! I decided to go with the traditional bow halter style. I will never say no to a bow! But I love that you can adjust the ties to make the dress look like a completely new piece.
The fabric on this dress is so incredibly soft. It feels like you could sleep in it! And depending on your accessories, it’s easy to dress up or down. You know how much I love dresses that can be styled multiple ways! I’ve been dying to wear these pearl sandals again (last seen here) so I decided to take the dressier route. I paired it with my Chanel bag and black cat eye sunglasses for a chic summer look. Very Audrey Hepburn if you ask me!

I love this dress on you!
I have a black t-shirt style dress I love to slip on in the summer. It can be worn with tennis shoes, flip flops or sandals. If I want to dress it up a bit, Ill throw on some heels or wedges. Also with a black dress, any color shoes or jewlery are acceptable!
So yes! Every girls needs a black dress.

Thank you! I would say it runs pretty true to size. I am usually a 6/8 and I’m wearing the medium. The fabric is pretty stretchy, too! Hope that helps!
