Another day, another summer dress! I wore this look for our drive down the Pacific coast from Napa to Santa Barbara last weekend. It was pretty chilly for the entire trip south, so I was happy I went with this long sleeve summer white eyelet dress!

Summer White Eyelet Dress

I spotted this white eyelet dress a few months ago and bought it immediately. I knew it would be perfect for our trip to California! Also available in red and navy and currently on sale, this long sleeve eyelet dress is perfect for those cooler summer days and nights. Although I love the red and navy versions, I was determined to find a white eyelet dress that worked. I usually have a difficult time find white, especially white dresses, that look good with my fair skin. Maybe it’s the eyelet that makes a difference, but I was pretty pleased with this dress!

As for the fit, I am wearing my regular size in the regular fit. Lately, I have been finding J.Crew’s dresses to be super short on me (I’m 5’8 for reference). Usually I order the tall version and it’s barely long enough. However, I took a chance with this eyelet dress and went with the regular size. It falls just above my knees, and while it is shorter than many of my other dresses, I think it still works.

I kept the accessories neutral when I styled this eyelet dress, choosing my go-to straw bag (similar here) and my beige sandals (wedge version last seen in this post).
