This fall, I have been loving florals. I have jumped on the fall floral bandwagon in previous years, but this year, the florals are different. This year’s fall florals are not your standard fall colors. The shades are in some cases, brighter like this dress or moodier like the florals in this post. I picked up this vibrant fall floral dress before we headed to Boston back in September and have styled it for early fall with sandals and now with over the knee boots.
Dress: J.Crew (more colors/prints here) | OTK Boots: DSW (under $60!) | Leggings: Zella | Bag: Celine (buy it pre-owned here) almost identical under $110 here | Sunglasses: Le Specs (Meghan Markle owns these too – under $70!) | Belt: similar style for $10 here | Earrings: Sheila Fajl | Ring: David Yurman | Lipstick & Lipgloss: here & here
Vibrant Fall Floral Dress
I fell in love with this vibrant fall floral print when I first spotted it online. I had loved this popover style dress since the summer (there are quite a few colors and prints here) but when I saw these bright and vibrant colors, I knew this was version I needed. Before leaving for Boston, I was searching for dresses to wear not only to the wedding and reception, but also the rehearsal dinner. The weather changed at the last minute and I needed a dress for the rehearsal the night before we left. Thankfully, this dress was in store and available in my size (runs true to size). The colors are even more vibrant in person! For the rehearsal dinner, I styled it with these sandals and this headband.
With fall now in full swing, I have been looking forward to wearing this dress in the cooler temperatures. I wore this particular look to work last week. I love finding dresses that work for the office and that can be worn on the weekend, too. For this work-friendly look, I styled it with my favorite over the knee boots (under $60!) and my go-to leggings. Tights would work too, but I love these leggings for when it’s colder. Although a belt isn’t necessary, I like that the belt creates a “waist” with this dress. One note about my tote: I found an almost identical version of my Celine tote for $110 here! It’s available in several colors, too!

Some of you may know of my love for Orangetheory Fitness (if you don’t, the obsession is real!). I even got Richard on the OTF bandwagon a few months ago. Today starts Hell Week which corresponds with the week leading up to Halloween. The goal is to complete 5 classes in 8 days and the classes aren’t like the regular (already challenging!) classes. They are more intense and downright scary haha! We have classes booked for today, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and next Thursday. The back to back classes on Saturday and Sunday are going to be rough. Needless to say, we don’t have too many plans for this weekend besides preparing for OTF torture!
Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Do tell in the comments section below! Thanks for stopping by, friends! Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
What a FUN dress! I absolutely LOVE it!!
I love the idea of brights in the fall! I always put mine away for the season, but you’ve inspired me to slow my roll on that one 🙂 This dress is just so pretty on you! Hope you guys survive the weekend…truth be told – it sounds awful!! LOL 🙂 We’re rooting for you guys! xxoo
