Happy Wednesday! Continuing our trends post today with another fall trend: moody florals. While florals are usually associated with spring and summer, fall florals have been popular the last few seasons. But given the darker palette of these floral pieces, “moody florals” seem like an accurate description for this fall trend.

Fall Trends: Moody Florals

As I mentioned, fall florals have been trending for the last few fall seasons, but the color palette in this year’s selection is moody, rich, and just gorgeous! These darker, moodier shades are a different spin on the typical floral print and I have to say, I’m loving it! Here are a few of my favorite pieces from this year’s moody floral trend:

• This floral fit and flare midi dress is everything! I have always had a soft spot in my heart for a good midi dress and this one is no exception. By adding a few accessories, you could dress this up for date night or even for a fall wedding. It could also be worn more casually with a moto jacket and ankle booties.
• If you are looking to add a pair of statement shoes to your closet this fall, these pointed toe floral slides would instantly take your outfit to the next level. You could easily wear these dressed up or even for work.
• When it comes to accessories, there is a moody floral print for that! With all trends, regardless of the season, trying out a bold print or color is always easy in an accessory, like this knotted floral headband or this square floral scarf. I am always a fan of statement earrings and both this stud pair and this floral hoop drop can be paired with so many fall outfits.
