With all the talk of New Year’s Eve in yesterday’s post with the Raspberry Sorbet Mocktails, I thought today would be all about what to wear on New Year’s Eve. We will be spending our New Year’s Eve at home this year, but if you are heading out and are looking for some last minute outfit ideas, here are a few of my favorite festive outfit from the past few years.

What to Wear on New Year’s Eve: LBD
You can never go wrong with a little back dress no matter what the occasion, but it would be especially perfect for NYE. This velvet bell sleeve dress is festive yet still classic. Add fun tights like these polka dot ones for a New Year’s Eve out on the town look.

What to Wear on New Year’s Eve: Statement Jacket
While this statement jacket happens to be of the faux fur variety, a statement jacket or coat is perfect for New Year’s Eve. Especially if you are celebrating in the colder temperatures. When I originally bought this faux fur pink jacket, I instantly had New Year’s Eve on my mind. It’s warm, bright and perfect for welcoming 2018!

What to Wear on New Year’s Eve: Faux Fur
I love wearing faux fur all fall and winter, but it seems especially appropriate on New Year’s Eve. If you are looking for a safer option (instead of the loud pink faux fur jacket above) a black faux fur vest is a great option. I paired this one a few years ago with an ivory lace top and leather leggings. This is one of my favorite and most versatile vests of all time!

What to Wear on New Year’s Eve: Sequins
New Year’s Eve wouldn’t be complete without a few sequins. If you are looking to add some sparkle to your look and don’t want a tight sequin dress, something like this sequin blazer is a great option. It’s festive but not over the top. I paired it with a navy cami and black leggings in this post from a few years ago. It’s definitely a fun way to ring in the new year!
Wishing you all a wonderful rest of 2017 and a safe and Happy New Year, friends! I will be back here next Tuesday to share a few healthy dishes to kick off the new year right. I know after all this unhealthy holiday eating, I need to get back on track!
See you in 2018!
I LOVE the lb.d with the dotted tights! So, so, so cute!! Now… want to plan what I’m doing for NYE?? lol
Obsessed with ALL of these — you look fabulous! But I think I may stick to PJ’s this year. Haha!
I adore the first dress, its simplistic yet striking. But I do have to say, that pink coat is stunning!
