Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s been a crazy few days but I’m back with a new post just in time for fall travel season. I have found 14 fall staple pieces and have styled them as 12 different outfits. Last spring, I shared a spring inspired 12 outfits in a carry-on post (you can see it here). It is still one of the most popular posts on ABM so I thought it was time to share a fall version. And while the idea of the post is packing lightly in a carry-on, the pieces I have included in this set are the perfect fall basic. You could easily use these items to build a fall capsule wardrobe for yourself!

I wanted to keep the pieces classic and basic so that there would be multiple ways to style each item. Although I am only sharing 12 outfit ideas here, there are even more possibilities if you switch up the shoes and accessories. And I love that so many of these outfits work well for work, too. If you are looking for a great carry-on bag, I love this one! It’s my go-to carry-on bag and I even have it in the larger size. I have the white version but it is also available in brown here. I was concerned about the white getting dirty, however, it is easy to clean with a magic eraser. Also, it’s currently on sale!
