Happy Thursday, friends! Last week, I shared our 24 Hours in Newport travel guide (see it here) and today we are moving on to another state. We finished off our tour of New England in Vermont last month and it was the perfect spot to take in that small town, New England charm. A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to do a mini tour of New England. If you follow along on Instagram, you probably saw some of the tourist attractions we hit. It was a whirlwind 5 days with 10 states visited! We were heading to a wedding in Boston and decided to take advantage of the sightseeing opportunities since we haven’t had the chance to explore much of New England. Our first stop on our tour was Newport, Rhode Island. It was a quick stop (just about 24 hours!) but we packed a lot into our time there. There is no denying California is our favorite vacation destination. Each year for our anniversary, we take a trip and 6 out of the last 8 years, California has been our destination. We usually pick either Northern California wine country or the Southern California desert. But this year, we decided to do a little of both. We have always wanted to drive down the California Pacific Coast Highway and figured it was time to check that item off our bucket list. I don’t know about you, but packing ranks high at the top of things I hate the most. Well, unpacking is probably a little higher 😉 We are leaving next week for a trip and after several to do lists with planning out what to pack, I thought I would share a travel post for this Wednesday Wishes. Packing a carry-on can be challenging. Especially if you want to make more than just a few outfits. But today, I have found 13 pieces (not including the earrings and necklace because those can be worn with just about everything) that can be mixed and match to create 12 outfits in a carry-on!
