Almost to the weekend, friends! Since the cooler weather has finally arrived in D.C., it’s time to think about fall layers. Today, I am looking at 4 must-have fall layers to add to your closet this season.

Faux Fur Vest

A vest is one of my go-to fall layers. Since it doesn’t get super cold in the D.C. area until at least December, vests are a great option for a fall layer. They are the perfect coat replacement with our warmer fall temperatures! As much as I love vests, I love faux fur vests even more. They are cute, cozy and a fun way to mix up a fall outfit. Moto Jacket

Probably my most-worn fall layer, the moto jacket is cute, comfortable and versatile. I wear it to work with blouses or even over dresses. It’s an easy to wear piece that is a closet must-have for fall. I do have a black moto jacket that I wear all.the.time, but this burgundy moto jacket is a fun spin on the traditional black jacket. Blazer

Although many of these fall layers are versatile, I think the blazer may just be the most versatile of the collection. As it is pictured here, this blazer makes for the perfect wear to work layer. But a basic layer like this one (I’ve had it for years!) also looks great styled more casually with jeans and a pair of casual flats. I have quite a few blazers in my closet, but this camel blazer is perfect for the fall season! You can see the original post here.

Faux Leather Jacket

Last, but certainly not least, the faux leather jacket is a another must-have layer for fall. While this particular layer is a little more edgy than the other layers, the styling possibilities are endless. Here, I have styled it with a pink turtleneck sweater and black skinny jeans.
