Since it seems that the cooler temperatures are here to stay, I thought it was time to round up four sweater styles to add to your closet this fall. While this post looks a little different from my other “fall trends” posts this season, these are four of fall’s hottest sweater trends:

Chunky Sweaters

Is there anything cozier than a chunky sweater in the fall? Of all the sweater styles, chunky sweaters are what I seem to gravitate towards most. And what a selection there is this season! There are so many versions of stripe sweaters (I especially love this black and white stripe sleeve sweater and the pink and red stripe sweater!) but this snow leopard sweater is a fun statement sweater to add to your sweater collection.

Sweater Dresses

Although not your standard “sweater”, sweater dresses are some of my favorite work dresses in the fall and winter. I actually just picked up this turtleneck sweater dress in black — it’s such a great basic to wear over the next few months! However, I have had my eye on this leopard sweater dress for awhile now. How can I NOT add this dress to my closet, right?! 🙂

Cardigans

I seem to wear cardigans the most as we are changing seasons. It’s a great way to layer without fully committing to a full blown sweater. I shared this colorblock cardigan a few weeks ago and it’s still on repeat as we approach November. However, this camel and black buffalo check cardigan has Thanksgiving written all over it. Style it with flats and black skinny jeans in the warmer climates and black leggings and over the knee boots in the colder climates!

Turtleneck Sweaters

Last, but not least, turtleneck sweaters. I have been wearing a ton of turtleneck sweaters already this fall and it’s not even November yet! Most recently, I have been all about this super soft turtleneck (seen in this post). But this selection of turtleneck sweaters makes me want to add a few more to my rotation! I love the bright colors in this round up — this teal mock neck sweater and oversized neon cable sweater are sure to brighten up the cooler temperatures.
