Happy Monday, friends! It was a snowy weekend here in the D.C. area. The snow started Saturday afternoon and as I type on Sunday evening, it is still going strong. Winter has been pretty quite so far, but looking at the extended forecast, it looks like it’s going to be a snowy start to 2019. Speaking of winter, today I am sharing a few winter beauty products I’ve been loving. From a face mask and lip mask to my new favorite styling accessory and face cleanser, here are my current winter beauty finds.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

I am always looking for new face masks to try. Typically, I look for hydrating masks, especially this time of the year. I have very dry skin and in the winter, it is just about unbearable! After reading quite a few good reviews on this brand, I decided I would give it a try. Laneige, a new-to-me brand, is a South Korean beauty brand that focuses on water science to address common skin concerns.

This overnight gel mask provides intense hydration that leaves your skin smoother and more even by morning. It is easy to apply and with notes of orange flower, rose and sandalwood, it relaxes you making it the perfect nighttime mask. Not only is this mask effective, but it’s also at a great price point. Face masks can range in price, but from my experience, the ones that get the best reviews are usually pretty pricey. However, this one is priced at only $25!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

On the subject of masks, I also picked up this lip sleeping mask from Laneige when I purchased the face mask I mentioned above. Truthfully, I didn’t even know lip masks existed until I discovered this one! In the winter, I feel like my lips have always been chapped. No matter how much lip balm, moisturizing lipsticks or glosses I wear, my lips are consistently chapped in the winter. I figured Laneige’s lip sleeping mask was worth a try, especially at only $20. I tried it the first night I received it. My lips were ridiculously dry and figured I should start immediately. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my dry lips would be soft, smooth and hydrated by morning, but they were! I am honestly so impressed with this lip mask, I would give it 10 stars if I could.

The mask is easy to apply with the applicator that comes with the product. Apply a generous amount before bed, leaving it on all night, and wipe the product off in the morning. I have the original scent, but it is also available in vanilla. I have been loving this product so much that I have been using it just about every night — even when my lips aren’t dry! Needless to say I am a fan of Laneige’s products and I’m looking forward to trying more. You can see more of their collection here.

GLAMGLOW Supercleanse Cleanser

I have gone back and forth between several face cleansers over the years. It not that I dislike a particular cleanser, but I haven’t really found one that I have loved either. A few months ago, I decided to try GLAMGLOW’s Supercleanse Cleanser. I had always heard great things about the GLAMGLOW brand so I thought I would give the cleanser a try since I was in need of a new one. I was a little hesitant at first because of it’s $32 price tag. My previous face wash was priced under $15! However, a little goes a long way with this cleanser so it will last awhile.

A cream-to-foam cleanser, this supercleanse cleanser is just that. The charcoal cream provides a deep clean that you can really feel. In the past, I have sometimes felt that even after washing my face, it still hasn’t felt clean. I can say that after using this charcoal cleanser, my face feels clean, smooth and refreshed. That refreshed feeling is thanks to the peppermint scent. I use this cleanser every day now, but when I first purchased it, I was only using it a few times a week. Until I started using it everyday, I didn’t notice the benefits of the product. I didn’t love the cleanser when I was only using it a few times a week. But now that it has become part of my daily routine, I completely understand all the hype around the brand.

T3 Hairdryer

I will be the first one to confess that I didn’t really understand all the love for T3. Yes, the products are pretty, but for their price, were they functional? My hairdresser had warned me of some of their heat styling products that didn’t have a temperature setting, so in the past I have stayed clear of T3 products. A few months ago, I tried my aunt’s new hairdryer after she had raved about it. Enter my obsession with T3. I couldn’t believe how quickly my hair was dry and the amount of volume that my hair had! My hair looked full, thick and smooth. I needed this hairdryer!

Needless to say I was super excited when I opened this hairdryer on Christmas morning from my parents. With three heat settings and two speed settings, this lightweight hairdryer eliminates the frizz and cuts your drying time in half. This hairdryer is an investment but in the few weeks I’ve been using it, I believe it is totally worth the price.
