Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I am rounding up another set of fall trends (you can see last week’s post here) and this week it’s all about a popular fall pattern. Although plaid is always popular in the fall, this season check, plaid and tweed will be bigger than ever!

Fall Trends: Check, Plaid & Tweed

The inspiration behind today’s post actually stems from my search for an oversized plaid blazer. I’ve been trying to add one to my blazer collection since last fall and have yet to find one I absolutely love. Blazers are one of my favorite pieces, especially in the fall, to be paired with dress pants for work or with jeans for casual. I’ll keep you posted if I find one!

In my search for this plaid blazer, I started to see SO many cute pieces in the check, plaid and tweed patterns. Needless to say, this was the next trend to highlight! If you are looking for something a little more conservative that would be perfect for the office, I love this simple black and white check dress. Wear it as is during these unseasonably warm temperatures or pair it with a black blazer once it cools down. As for accessories, there are a ton of ways to sport this fall pattern this season. Of all the items, I think the accessories are some of my favorite. These tweed bow pumps are showstoppers! I also love that you can dress the pattern down with these tweed sneakers. I am always drawn to statement sneakers!
