Faux Fur Vest

One accessory that I get excited for each fall and winter is a faux fur vest. I typically incorporate one into my wardrobe each year (this year it was two..oops!). But of all my faux fur vests, this is definitely the most unique. A lighter layer, this faux fur vest is perfect for this time of the year. Although, I see myself wearing this all fall and winter, too.

Faux Fur Vest

I first spotted this faux fur vest at cabi’s Blogger Day in May. Like so many of the pieces I saw at the event, it made me wishing for fall in the middle of spring! The colors were obviously what attracted me to the vest first. The colors of deep blue, grey, black and white combine for a “frosty” feel that can easily be worn throughout fall and winter. Other fabulous qualities of this vest? It’s cropped style, capped sleeves and hidden pockets are the perfect details for this fun accessory.

For these transitioning temperatures, I styled the faux fur vest with the perfect layering tee and these new seamed ponte leggings. I’m also looking forward to styling it with a turtleneck once the temperatures are cooler! You may remember these two toned ankle booties from a few weeks ago (post here). I jumped at the chance to wear these again with this multi-colored faux fur vest!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Ella had her Halloween party and she won Cutest Canine in the costume contest. It’s her third straight year winning the title! The costume didn’t last too long, but surprisingly, the bow did! Thanks for stopping by and have a great start to the week, friends!

    And Ella! Omg! She looks so darn cute, I totally see why she won Cutest Canine, I mean…cutest costume and pup! We are so sad we didn’t make it to our annual Howl-oween party with Charlie, we were out of town. He has a little pumpkin costume and it took him while to get used to it…he hates clothing. Haha!

  13. The faux fur vest is one of my favorite fall pieces, too, a close second to the leather jacket! I have quite a few in my wardrobe, but nothing like this! Now you’ve got me wanting to add this one to my collection, as if I needed yet another, haha. I love the navy and grey color combination, it’s perfect for both now and winter. I love the way you’ve styled it with the all black and those booties are so chic! A huge congrats to Ella for winning Cutest Canine! Bravo to you, mommy, for having her hold the title three times!!!
