Fourth of July Inspiration - A Blonde's Moment

It is crazy to think the Fourth of July is tomorrow. In one respect, it seems like Christmas was a lifetime ago but on the other hand, it seems like it was just yesterday. Although this Fourth of July won’t be like celebrations of the past, today I am sharing Fourth of July inspiration featuring a few of my favorite patriotic summer looks and two of my favorite summer recipes!

Stripe Bell Sleeve Dress

Nothing says summer AND the Fourth of July like a stripe dress! The bell sleeves and embroidery are two of my favorite details of this dress and you can’t beat the price. I did size up to a size large for the length. It still is a little short on me (I’m 5’8 for reference) so I would recommend this dress if you are 5’6 or shorter.

Gingham One Shoulder Dress

This gingham dress has summer BBQ written all over it! I love the one shoulder ruffle style and it’s a good length. The dress is super easy to style with white accessories like I did here. But, you could easily incorporate color (like red!) for a super patriotic look.

Red Polka Dot Dress

A flowy midi dress is a summer essential! Although this dress is sold out (similar style linked here), I love how easy it is to style a summer midi dress. Dress it up or wear it casually, a midi dress is the perfect dress for so many summer occasions.

Stripe T-Shirt Dress

What can I say, I love stripe dresses! Although the same pattern, this stripe t-shirt style dress can be worn more casual. Perfect for a summer party or just to wear while running errands, I love styling a t-shirt dress like this with sneakers. Cute, casual, and comfortable!

Now on to food! This is one of my favorite side dishes of summer. It is the perfect fresh and cool side dish for a hot summer day. Although it works with just about any summer dinner on the grill, I love it with burgers and hot dogs.

Mexican Style Street Corn

Corn on the cob is one of my favorite summer dishes, we have it just about every weekend! But, add a few ingredients to take your standard corn on the cob up a notch to this Mexican Style Street Corn! It is so delicious and super easy to put together.
