With all the talk of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I am definitely looking forward to fall. However, the temperatures are still warm (and there are more summer clothes to share!) and will be for awhile. Heavy coats, layers and over the knee boots are still a few months away, but transitioning your summer wardrobe to fall is only about a month away. How to Build a Pre-Fall Capsule Wardrobe

I find capsule wardrobes to be useful. Especially in the work environment. I love pairing different basics together to create new outfits. And it’s a great way to get your money out of your clothes! This particular pre-fall capsule wardrobe focuses on neutrals that you can wear now, as we transition to fall, and into the early part of fall by adding a jacket or sweater. Mix and match the tops with different pants or skirts to create easy outfits that range from casual weekend looks to dressed up looks for work or date night.

While the majority of the main pieces are neutrals, I add prints and textures with shoes and accessories. As I mentioned in previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts last week (see them here and here) snakeskin is going to be a huge trend for fall and I love these flats. If you like something more basic, these black flats are a great pair that go with so much in your closet.
