Spring Dresses Under $150

spring dresses under $150

Yesterday was the first day of spring, but you wouldn’t know it here in the D.C. area! We made it through February with about 2 inches of snow but we have already made up for it today. Even with the snowy forecast, it will not stop me from dreaming of warmer temperatures and spring dresses. I have been on a serious hunt for dresses lately. Between weddings, work and vacation, I have been looking for quite a few styles. Can you believe I have had virtually no luck in this dress quest?! Maybe it’s too early in the season, but finding cute and affordable spring dresses has been a challenge. However, I have managed to pull together the twelve best spring dresses under $150 that I have found. From mini, midi and maxi dresses to dresses with cute details like a tie front, here are my favorite affordable spring dresses…

Spring Dresses Under $150

It’s challenging to find cute and affordable dresses not matter what the season, but for me, it’s especially difficult in the spring and summer. Each year, styles that are cuter than last year hit the racks and I find myself falling in love with so many dresses. Until I see the price tag. However, it seems like this year it has been particularly difficult for me. Since this has been almost a month long saga in finding spring dresses, I thought maybe you were experiencing similar problems so I wanted to share what I have found! Don’t get me wrong, I have seen quite a few dresses in the $150 and above range, but keeping it under the $150 threshold has been difficult. I broke the dresses down into three categories: mini, midi and maxi and tie front dresses so there is something for everyone!

Spring Mini Dresses

I usually don’t gravitate towards mini dresses because most of the time I find them to be too short. But, out of this entire collection, I think the prints of the mini dresses are my favorite! These pretty pastels have spring written all over them, including the green stripe linen shift. Available in a few colors, this is a great everyday dress that can be worn throughout spring and summer. If you are looking for something a little more dressy, both pink floral dresses would be perfect for a wedding or shower. I ordered this eyelet flutter hem dress and I am anxiously awaiting it’s delivery. It would be cute styled with sandals or sneakers!

 Spring Midi and Maxi Dresses

One of my favorite styles of dresses, as you can see from the first image above, are midi and maxi lengths. These are easy to wear casually on the weekends or during the workweek. Speaking of the workweek, this ruffle fit and flare midi would be perfect for the office and could easily be worn for a bridal or baby shower as well. If you are looking for a more formal dress, this lace midi would be a fabulous choice if you have a spring or summer wedding to attend. Almost a carbon copy of this designer dress, this dress is available in 8 colors and is under $90. It’s difficult to see from this image, but the color is a gorgeous mint color that screams spring!

Spring Tie Front Dresses

Last, but not least, a trend that is taking spring by storm is the tie front detail. From shirts to dresses, this is a fun detail that really elevates an otherwise basic dress. And a tie front detail is always a great way to cinch in your waist while making the dress figure flattering. Of the four, the emerald green pleat collar shirtdress is the winner for me. The bright color, fun pleated collar and ruffle hem make this dress a fun spin on the regular shirtdress and the perfect wear to work dress for spring and summer.

I’ve also included a few other dresses under $150 that did not fit in today’s set below. Happy spring dress shopping!

  3. I love number 5!! I’ve been having the hardest time finding dresses I love lately. I feel like a lot of the quality has gotten really low; it’s hard to find quality materials at the right price points!!
