I don’t know about you, but I have about a million things in my handbag. Depending on the occasion and bag, I have anything from my iPad, laptop, planner and a cosmetic bag to fit in there. I am not one to change my handbags often (mainly because it would be too much to switch over!) but when and if I do, there are a few beauty items that always make the transfer. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: After trying quite a few concealers (last mentioned here), I always seem to come back to this one. While I would probably consider this concealer to be medium coverage, it is buildable and leaves you with a radiant look. I put this on in the morning and it lasts all day. However, in case I want to touch up my tired eyes throughout the day, it’s a good idea to keep it on hand. I use the color “Chantilly”. Shop the concealer here.
Clump Crusher Mascara: One of the benefits of being a blogger is having the opportunity to try a lot of products, especially beauty products. I have tried some of the higher end mascaras and they have been alright. But, if you hate clumps on your eyelashes as much as I do, it’s hard to beat this $7.99 mascara. The curved, molded brush helps to keep the lashes separated leaving your eyelashes looking long and clump-free. This is my everyday mascara and it is good to keep with you if you want to reapply throughout the day. However, if I am looking for lash volume, I will typically apply a few coats of this mascara followed by the clump crusher. I use this combination for evenings or a dressy makeup look. Invisibobble Hair Ties: Hair ties have always been a necessity for me. But over the years, extra hair ties have moved from my wrist to my handbag. Who else always had a hair tie on their wrist?! It’s safe to say that you never know when you are going to need an extra hair tie. Whether your current hair tie breaks or you need your hair off your neck. diptyque Eau Rose Hand Cream: I have shared my love of diptyque candles countless times (this scent is my all-time favorite) and the hand cream is a newer obsession of mine. I always have hand cream with me because regardless of the season, my hands get so dry. I’ve tried many hand creams over the years, but this is the one I am currently using. And it’s one of the best yet! The cream smells so similar to my favorite candle — you know how much I love the rose scent! Not only is the smell amazing, the cream leaves your hands feeling velvety smooth. Since this cream is a little pricey, it’s important to mention that a little goes a long way. I always have to have to chapstick on me at all times! I go crazy without it! That hand lotion sounds amazing, and something else that I should always keep with me!
I’ve heard really good things about the Sugar lip products, so I’d love to try them out someday. I’m a huge fan of Invisibobbles. I have brown ones to match my hair, but I’d like to get some other, fun colors.
