While I typically associate the color blush with spring, I have been noticing so many blush pieces lately. I thought it was time to create a color inspiration board with a color I’m crushing on for summer! What I love most about these pieces is that the color varies from the typical blush color. While the blush is present, there are some peachy and mauve tones in these items that make them a little different from the usual blush. I love this contrast and I think it works well for styling outside of the traditional blush season of spring. Here are some of my favorite summer blush crush pieces…

Summer Blush Crush

It’s pretty obvious that I love this color, but what sets these items apart from others are the details. It shouldn’t be surprising that I have a thing for details. From the details on a dress (like in Tuesday’s post) or embellishments on a handbag (like this pearl embellished bag), it’s these little details that make a piece special. So many pieces in today’s board feature those details — like the ruffle swimsuit and the bow sandals. And speaking of bows, I own these bow shorts in chambray (last seen on the blog here) and I’m dying to add this soft pink to my collection. As for details of the lace variety, this lace cold shoulder dress and the high neck lace dress would both be perfect for a summer occasion or wedding. Both are just stunning!

  4. I recently wore a b;lush dress and shoes to a wedding and it was so great because it is such a soft colour that’s super feminine. I’ve always loved its effect and noticed that I had many more pieces that I thought in my wardrobe.
