Last week, while my aunt was visiting from Ohio, my mom, aunt and I headed to central Virginia for wine tastings and horseback riding. The beautiful sights of Virginia wine country are a must-see the next time you are in the state. And what better way to explore some of Virginia’s best wineries than by horseback!
There is no denying California is our favorite vacation destination. Each year for our anniversary, we take a trip and 6 out of the last 8 years, California has been our destination. We usually pick either Northern California wine country or the Southern California desert. But this year, we decided to do a little of both. We have always wanted to drive down the California Pacific Coast Highway and figured it was time to check that item off our bucket list. I’ve divided the trip into two parts, so I will be sharing our drive down the coast and our stay in the desert next week. Hi, friends! I hope you all enjoyed your long holiday weekend. We are finally back from our California adventure. And while we had a great time, there is nothing like being home! If you have been following along on Instagram and Instagram Stories (rach.mccarthy), you know that we started in Northern California in Napa and drove down the coast to Santa Barbara and ended our anniversary trip in Palm Springs.
