While spring has arrived in many places, spring decided to take a break over the weekend here in D.C. Temperatures were in the 30s Sunday morning! However, I think most places are suffering from strange spring temperatures. Even in the south! I wore this fun, tropical-inspired spring dress is Austin this past weekend. It was hot and in the high 80s on Friday and made for the perfect brightly colored piece for the warm, spring temperatures. Maybe Texas can send us some of those temperatures!

Tropical-Inspired Spring Dress
This pretty, tropical print dress is part of cabi’s newest arrivals. One look at these pieces will have you dreaming of the sun! You can see the entire collection here. I love the lightweight fabric of the dress, which is ideal for the warmer weather. Some of my favorite details of the dress include the ruffle around the sleeves and the tie waist. The cinching in of the waist creates such a feminine fit.
If you have been following along for awhile, you know I am a big fan of cabi’s clothes. One of the things I love most about cabi is the ability to mix and match pieces from different collections and seasons. You may remember in this post I featured the embroidered floral blouse from this season with the green jeans from another. Similarly, this bell sleeve cardigan is from the main spring collection (shop the entire spring collection here) and it looks perfect with the colors in this spring dress. And it’s hard to ever say no to cute bell sleeves!
cabi Tap App
Speaking of styling older pieces with the new season, as the common expression says, there is an app for that! The cabi Tap app allows you to go completely digital with your cabi experience. Go digital by viewing the look book and saving your favorite pieces. And, are you ready for the best part? The app is able to remember your past purchases to know what goes with the current season! It’s like walking around with your closet in an app! You can learn more about and download the cabi Tap app here.
Thanks for reading, friends! Have a great start to the week!

Wow, this is such a beautiful outfit, Rachel! I love the color combination, which I wouldn’t have thought of, but the shade of blue and vibrant red really compliment each other beautifully. I also adore the trumpet sleeves on your cardigan. I remember your post on Cabi before, they really do seem to have such cute, trendy, yet unique pieces. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead, girlie!

OK, I officially need this sweater! I love the color and of course those fabulous bell sleeves! It was the perfect pairing with the dress too. I think it’s safe to say that everyone is ready for spring. We’ve shot straight to summer this week here, though- it’s 90! I don’t know what to wear from day to day and I’m OVER it!!
