With spring and summer wedding season ramping up, this week’s Wednesday Wishes is all about what to wear this wedding season. From white dresses for the bride to wear to showers or the rehearsal dinner to dresses for the guest for bridal showers or the reception, here are some of my favorite dresses for wedding (and spring and summer!) season.

What to Wear this Wedding Season

There always seem to be so many weddings in the spring and summer months. And since we are celebrating our 8th (!!) wedding anniversary in just two weeks, I thought this post was timely. Regardless of your upcoming wedding plans, both sets also make for great dresses for a number of spring and summer occasions.

For the bride, I focused on white dresses that would be perfect for bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. Ironically, I didn’t wear white to any of my bridal showers or even our rehearsal dinner! I went with my signature color, pink 🙂 However, I know most brides like to wear all the white around their big day! From pretty lace details to floral embellishments, there is something for every bride. Or if you are looking for a little white dress to add to your warm weather wardrobe, these are some gorgeous pieces. It’s difficult to pick a favorite but the pearl details around the sleeves and neckline in the #3 dress are just gorgeous. This dainty and understated detail truly makes the dress.

As for the guest’s attire, I went with a mix of cocktail and maxi dresses. Not only do both styles work depending on the formality of the wedding, but some of the maxi dresses would be perfect for pre-wedding events like bridal showers, too. Needless to say, it’s all about the color for the guest’s wardrobe. Again, it’s difficult to pick a favorite but the pink dress with the scallop details and high neckline is a favorite along with the pink and green floral maxi. Truthfully, I’ll take one of each!
