I don’t know about you, but packing ranks high at the top of things I hate the most. Well, unpacking is probably a little higher 😉 We are leaving next week for a trip and after several to do lists with planning out what to pack, I thought I would share a travel post for this Wednesday Wishes. Packing a carry-on can be challenging. Especially if you want to make more than just a few outfits. But today, I have found 13 pieces (not including the earrings and necklace because those can be worn with just about everything) that can be mixed and match to create 12 outfits in a carry-on!
12 Outfits In a Carry-on
After receiving good feedback from this post, I wanted to share another capsule type post with you. I always find wardrobe capsule posts to be useful. I hope you do as well! One of my favorite things about fashion, regardless of whether I am traveling, is mixing and matching pieces to find new ways to wear an item. Classic staple pieces like a little black dress, stripe tee and white jeans are so important to have in your closet since they create the foundation for so many outfits. Adding a few types of layers, in this case a denim jacket, long cardigan and scarf, allows you to add dimension to your look. Lastly, accessories like shoes and handbags can instantly dress a look up or down depending on the occasion.
Although you can mix and match the pieces even more, here are 12 outfits to fit in your carry-on bag for your next trip:

If you are in the market for a good carry-on suitcase, this is the one I use. I have it in the larger size as well and I have loved traveling with it for the past year. I was skeptical of the color — we all know how rough bags look when they arrive in baggage claim! But much to my surprise, the suitcase is holding up well and it is easy to spot clean. The luggage is also available in a darker color if you prefer. I can’t say enough great things about this luggage!
How do you pack your carry-on bag? I would love to hear some of your secrets in the comments section below! Thanks for reading and have a wonderful Wednesday, friends!

This post is so helpful! One of the things that I had to learn for our Europe trip was how to pack in a carry on! Picking out clothes that work well in multiple combinations really is key!
This is so helpful! This is something I definitely struggle with #overpackerprobs! Mixing and matching is definitely key!
