Since seeing the faux leather jacket during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I’ve been dying to wear mine. My leather jacket was a purchase from a previous Anniversary Sale and it’s one of my favorite layers in the fall and winter. Last Saturday, there was a serious chill (and wind) in the air and an extra layer became a necessity. I paired this gingham dress and leather jacket together for an easy summer to fall transitional look that happened to be a little preppy and a little edgy.
Finding the perfect dress for a wedding can be a challenge, especially when it’s a summertime wedding. The heat and humidity are huge factors when determining your look for the day. My cousin’s wedding was last weekend in downtown Annapolis and I had spent months trying to find the perfect dress. When I stumbled upon this cobalt blue peplum dress a few months ago, I knew it would be perfect for their nautical themed wedding.
I guess this week is statement top week here on A Blonde’s Moment! With the peplum hemline and the fun sleeves, this black peplum top and skinny jeans makes for the perfect date night outfit.
I’ve never met a ruffle I didn’t love. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be a little overwhelming (to say the least!). So much so that when I was creating last week’s post all about the sale (you can see that here) I totally missed this red double ruffle sleeve top.
Is there anything more summer than a one shoulder gingham dress? I have spent the last few months searching for a gingham dress to add to my closet, but didn’t have much luck until I stumbled upon this one. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: there is something about a cold shoulder top this spring and summer. Happy almost Friday, friends! Graphic shirts have been all the rage but I really haven’t jumped on this “trend train” until recently. My first real graphic tee was this blonde tee that I shared in this post a few months ago. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of plastering brand names and logos all over my clothing and accessories and I think that is probably why in the past I have shied away from this trend. But, when a saying has a special meaning to me or is completely and totally relatable, I wear it loud and proud! Needless to say this particular sweatshirt couldn’t be more perfect.
