Now that the temperatures are beginning to feel like fall, it finally feels acceptable to enjoy some of fall’s best flavors. Let’s be honest though, I’ve been drinking pumpkin coffee and eating pumpkin flavored everything for the past few weeks now! I always love checking out Trader Joe’s food selection (you can see my last Trader Joe’s haul here), but their fall inspired foods are always some of my favorites. Here are this year’s Fall Finds from Trader Joe’s.

Fall Finds from Trader Joe’s

As much as I love checking out Trader Joe’s selection of pumpkin everything this time of the year, I am the first to confess that I’m pretty particular when it comes to pumpkin flavors. Everything is flavored pumpkin these days. From pretzels to cereal to ice cream, it’s hard to find a food that doesn’t have a pumpkin spin! And for as much as I love pumpkin, I do not like the fake tasting pumpkin flavor. It’s a flavor we all know and for me, it’s just too powerful and sweet. With that being said, I have found these pumpkin and fall inspired flavors to be manageable.

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s

I’m not a huge cereal person these days, but when I saw these at Trader Joe’s, I knew I needed to try them. I had tried the Cheerio’s Pumpkin Spice cereal a few years ago and was not a fan. To me, it had that fake pumpkin-y taste. After checking out the label, I found the Trader Joe’s version to be promising: they are toasted whole wheat, low fat and lower (as far as cereal goes) in sugar. For me, these are better than the Cheerio version and a good way to start your morning off with a little pumpkin flavor!

Trader Joe’s Candy Corn Popcorn

This popcorn should come with a warning: you may eat the entire bag in one sitting. Originally, I bought a bag for my mom. She loves candy corn and doesn’t have a Trader Joe’s close to their house. While I was at my parent’s house, she opened the bag and was raving about this popcorn. She told me to try it. I’m not a huge sweet person and I am NOT a candy corn fan so I was a little hesitant. But after she kept talking about it, I thought I would give it a try. WOW. To me, it tastes more like caramel corn instead of candy corn. Maybe that’s why I like it so much? Needless to say, I went back to Trader Joe’s and bought myself a bag. Oh and the best part: the bag is only $1.99. Such a steal! You can read more about this Candy Corn Popcorn here.

Trader Joe’s Pecan Pumpkin Oatmeal

Oatmeal has always been one of my favorite breakfast items. I use to eat it a lot more (I’m stuck on the English muffins from Dave’s Killer Bread right now) but this might just be the oatmeal that gets me back on my kick! Oatmeal with pecans has always been my favorite, so when I saw this seasonal one from Trader Joe’s had not only pumpkin but also pecans, I was all in! I always find that oatmeal keeps me more full throughout the day, so this is the perfect breakfast for a workday.

Trader Joe’s Creamy Pink Primavera Pasta Sauce

Let’s be honest. I originally picked up this jar of pasta sauce because of it’s gorgeous color! But after taking a look at the ingredients, I decided to put it in my cart. I make pasta once a week and I always love switching up traditional spaghetti with something more fun and a little healthier. This sauce has tomatoes, beets, cauliflower and chickpeas with a touch of citrus. Not your traditional pasta sauce, but I love this as a unique and healthy way to enjoy an easy, weeknight pasta dish.

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Ginger Ice Cream Cones

These were obviously a must-have when I spotted them in the frozen section at Trader Joe’s! One of my favorite ways to enjoy the pumpkin flavor is in the form of ice cream and these ice cream cones did not disappoint! These mini cones are filled with pumpkin ice cream and covered with a confectionery coating that is beyond delicious. And because they are tiny in size, they make for the perfect sweet treat after dinner.
