With the official start to summer not far away, today’s Wednesday Wishes is all about Memorial Day outfit inspiration. Whether you plan to spent it at the pool, at a BBQ or if you are ready to add some patriotic colors and prints to your closet, here are a few of my favorite red, white and blue finds for Memorial Day.
Memorial Day Outfit Inspiration
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I always love wearing patriotic colors, especially in the summer. And this year, the red, white and blue pieces are some of the cutest yet! There is nothing better than stripes in the summertime, and this stripe maxi dress would be perfect all summer long, especially for Memorial Day or the Fourth of July. And speaking of stripes, this stripe tote is a universal carry-all if your plans take you to the beach or pool. But, if you are looking for something a little more fun, this straw bag with the patriotic tassels screams America!
If you are looking to accessorize your outfit with patriotic shoes, these wrap-around sandals are the perfect color combination and I love the style. This round-up wouldn’t be complete without mentioning this red swimsuit with the grosgrain ribbon straps. Available in a few colors, I actually ordered this swimsuit for our trip. Super cute, but if you have a longer torso like me, I would either size up or skip it. It broke my heart to return it, but it just wasn’t long enough for me. The grosgrain ribbons are just darling!

I always love wearing red, white, and blue during the summer as well! The girls already have Memorial Day outfits but I don’t yet! I love that maxi dress, and I really want to try and add a pop of red with lipstick this year!
