Happy Thursday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July! It was so strange with the holiday falling in the middle of the week this year. But, the good news is that tomorrow is already Friday! One of my most worn handbags of the spring and summer has been this straw handbag. Summer Dress Under $70
Summer has arrived in D.C.! It was a hot one this past weekend with temperatures approaching the upper 90s. Needless to say, the indoors and air conditioning were our best friends! We did head into D.C. to take these pictures before 7am on Sunday. The early morning and warm temperatures were worth it to capture these images just a few days before the Fourth of July. Another day, another dress! There is no denying my love for dresses, but I think summer dresses are my favorite. It’s the coolest way to survive a D.C. summer! I had bought this dress for Palm Springs (perfect with the palms, right?!) but didn’t have a chance to wear it. We opted for Costco pizza on the second to last night of our vacation because we were so sick of getting dressed up to go out for dinner. Vacation should be relaxing, right? The Costco pizza was the best decision ever! However, I wasn’t able to wear this cute palm print sundress. Thankfully this casual number will look cute all summer long.

While I typically associate the color blush with spring, I have been noticing so many blush pieces lately. I thought it was time to create a color inspiration board with a color I’m crushing on for summer! What I love most about these pieces is that the color varies from the typical blush color.
