Graphic tops. Pair them with jeans and sneakers and you have the perfect casual outfit for spring. As I mentioned in last Thursday’s post, I am always attracted to navy during the spring. And after the warmer temperatures the past few days, I have been reaching for all my spring pieces, including this cute graphic top for spring.

Weekend in Virginia Wine Country
Last weekend, we headed to central Virginia, Charlottesville to be exact, to spend some time in the heart of Virginia wine country. We have been to “suburbs” of Charlottesville before, but never made it to Charlottesville proper until this trip. Richard and I love to visit wineries in Northern Virginia closer to our home, but we were anxious to try more of central Virginia’s wineries. We packed up the car and headed south for President’s Day weekend to explore a new area of our state, with Ella in tow, for a warm but overcast and rainy weekend in Virginia wine country.
5 Must-Have Shoes for Spring
It would be hard to pinpoint a favorite kind of accessory, but if I had to chose, shoes would definitely be at or near the top. I always get excited for a new season of shoes and it’s about this time of the year I start looking for a few new pairs to add to my collection. But, I have noticed that so many of my favorite styles and trends are coming back for spring 2018. Which is probably good for the space in my closet’s case! From blush beauties and a go-to pair of sneakers, today I am rounding up 5 must-have shoes for spring.
How to Build A Spring Wardrobe
It’s crazy to think that today is the last day of January. It seem like just yesterday we were talking about Christmas outfits and gift guides. Since spring is just around the corner, I wanted to share fifteen basic spring pieces and how to build a spring wardrobe. Each of these staple spring pieces can be styled several ways allowing you to create multiple spring outfits giving you the most bang for your buck.

Happy Monday, friends! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to spring. From the colors to the warmer weather, I’m counting down the days. We had a taste of spring last week — it was in the 60s on Friday! — and it had me thinking about my spring wardrobe. It’s never too soon to start planning! Today, I am rounding up three of my must-have spring layers. These three layers are closet staples that you will be able to wear to transition to spring and all spring long.
Floral Embroidered Dress
A floral embroidered dress. Is there anything better? When I spotted this dress a few weeks ago, I knew it was the perfect party dress to take to New York for Fashion Week.
Black Peplum Top and Skinny Jeans
I guess this week is statement top week here on A Blonde’s Moment! With the peplum hemline and the fun sleeves, this black peplum top and skinny jeans makes for the perfect date night outfit.
Cold Shoulder Top
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: there is something about a cold shoulder top this spring and summer. I spotted this top before we went to California and was so excited to pair it with shorts and white jeans. Well, it was pretty warm while we were in the desert and I stuck to mostly dresses. But I had the opportunity to pair it with my favorite high-waisted jeans and white accessories a few weeks ago when we got back to Virginia.Read More
I Love My Dog
Happy almost Friday, friends! Graphic shirts have been all the rage but I really haven’t jumped on this “trend train” until recently. My first real graphic tee was this blonde tee that I shared in this post a few months ago. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of plastering brand names and logos all over my clothing and accessories and I think that is probably why in the past I have shied away from this trend. But, when a saying has a special meaning to me or is completely and totally relatable, I wear it loud and proud! Needless to say this particular sweatshirt couldn’t be more perfect.
Floral Cold Shoulder(ish)
This floral top has been on serious repeat this spring and summer. You may remember when I styled it HERE with a navy blazer during the cooler months and now it’s been my go-to top to wear with white jeans. I wore this top while in California and actually skipped the cold shoulder feature. But when I wore it this past weekend, I styled it as it was intended, with the cold shoulder!Read More
