Graphic tops. Pair them with jeans and sneakers and you have the perfect casual outfit for spring. As I mentioned in last Thursday’s post, I am always attracted to navy during the spring. And after the warmer temperatures the past few days, I have been reaching for all my spring pieces, including this cute graphic top for spring.
Last weekend, we headed to central Virginia, Charlottesville to be exact, to spend some time in the heart of Virginia wine country. We have been to “suburbs” of Charlottesville before, but never made it to Charlottesville proper until this trip. Richard and I love to visit wineries in Northern Virginia closer to our home, but we were anxious to try more of central Virginia’s wineries. We packed up the car and headed south for President’s Day weekend to explore a new area of our state, with Ella in tow, for a warm but overcast and rainy weekend in Virginia wine country.
It would be hard to pinpoint a favorite kind of accessory, but if I had to chose, shoes would definitely be at or near the top. I always get excited for a new season of shoes and it’s about this time of the year I start looking for a few new pairs to add to my collection. Happy almost Friday, friends! Graphic shirts have been all the rage but I really haven’t jumped on this “trend train” until recently. My first real graphic tee was this blonde tee that I shared in this post a few months ago. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of plastering brand names and logos all over my clothing and accessories and I think that is probably why in the past I have shied away from this trend. But, when a saying has a special meaning to me or is completely and totally relatable, I wear it loud and proud! Needless to say this particular sweatshirt couldn’t be more perfect.
