Spring has barely begun and so far my spring wardrobe has consisted mostly of my go-to basics. Green Utility Jacket and White Jeans

I have shared this utility jacket countless times here on the blog (most recently here). And for as much as I wear it on the blog, I probably wear it even more in real life! I can’t rave enough about it’s go-with-everything color, weight and of course all the details. I actually wore this jacket with the embroidered blouse from this post on Friday! This jacket really is the wear anywhere and everywhere spring layer.

Spring Wedges Under $80

A few weeks ago, I bought these cute wedges to replace an older pair of beige espadrilles. I thought they were darling when I saw them online but had no idea how fabulous they would be until they arrived. It’s easy to say a pair of shoes is comfortable after they are broken in, but these wedges were comfortable from the first time I tried them on! I walked a few miles around Georgetown right after taking these pictures. This was the first time wearing them and my feet were pain and blister free. Also available in black, grey and white, I couldn’t pass up the beige. It really is the perfect wedge for spring and summer. With it’s neutral color the possibilities are endless for pairing with spring pieces in your closet.
