3 Must Have Jeans for Spring

3 must have jeans for spring

Jeans are a closet staple no matter what the season. But, during this awkward time while we wait for the real spring temperatures to arrive, I find myself reaching for my jeans a ton. They are perfect for the cooler weather and easy to pair with sweaters and tops. With so many different types of jeans to pick from, these are my 3 must have jeans for spring…

Distressed Denim

One of the more basic types of jeans, a pair of distressed denim is a closet necessity for the spring. Paired with a fun shirt like this ruffle hem top or with a spring cardigan, the possibilities are endless when it comes to this wash and style of denim. And while a basic pair of denim (i.e. non-distressed) is always a good idea to have, the distressed denim is a great way to mix up your outfits in the warmer months and add a bit of fun to your look. I have some pretty distressed (or destroyed!) denim in my closet, but I think this pair is the perfect amount of distress. Although these were a find from last spring, I did link some similar, higher-waisted jeans below. See the original post featuring the orange ruffle top here and the post featuring the purple cardigan here.

Colored Jeans

Colored jeans are having a serious moment this spring and I couldn’t be more happy about it! I still have a few pairs of bright pink and orange jeans in my closet from the last time colored jeans were on trend. You can bet I’ll be wearing them this spring and summer! While these green jeans are a little more subtle, I love the idea of adding colored jeans to your wardrobe this season. Colored jeans offer a fun way to remix an outfit and allow you to create a completely new look. These green jeans from cabi have been a favorite of mine for almost a year and have worn them in summer, fall and now spring. I’ve included some more of my favorite colored jeans below. See the original post featuring the white lace cami here and the post featuring the embroidered floral blouse here.

White Jeans

It would be difficult to talk about spring jeans without mentioning the quintessential spring pants: white jeans. I was once a stickler for waiting until after Easter to wear my white jeans, but as long as you pair it with the correct top or sweater, I believe it’s easy to wear white jeans year round! Whether you want to pair the white jeans with a bright color like I did with this mint green sweater (original post here) or a classic black and white look (original post here), the possibilities are truly endless when it comes to white jeans. I love how fresh and crisp white jeans look in the spring. Especially after a long winter, white jeans and spring are the perfect combination! Shop a few of my favorite styles of white jeans below.
