I honestly don’t think I can think of a better color and pattern combination! After sharing one of fall’s hottest color trends last week (you can see the post here), I am back today with another fall trend. This time, it’s two trends for fall: a color and pattern. Here is my favorite inspiration for another round up of fall trends: magenta and animal print.

Fall Colors: Lavender

It’s hard to believe fall is just around the corner. Where did summer go? Each fall, I like to take a look at colors that are trending for the new season. While burgundy, olive green and cognac will always be considered fall colors, over the next few weeks I will be looking at other, not so assuming, colors to wear this autumn. It’s not a surprise that Pantone’s Color of the Year has made it’s way to fall. However, the great thing about this lavender shade is that you can start wearing it now! A color that works for both summer and fall is the perfect way to transition your wardrobe for the new season. Here are my picks for fall (and summer!) lavender inspiration:

Each fall, there is an “it” color of the season. For me, I typically gravitate towards green, camel and burgundy in the fall. But this year, there is one color in particular I have my eye on. I think it’s safe to say I’ve found my fall color crush: rust.
