A trench coat is one of my favorite spring layers. Much like the cardigan I shared in Thursday’s post and the utility jacket from two weeks ago, the trench is the third most popular spring layer in my closet. When I spotted this dusty blue trench coat in cabi’s spring collection, I knew it was a must-have for me.
I am a firm believer in accessories. That is, accessories really can make an outfit. Whether it’s making a look casual or dressy or preppy or edgy, it’s all in the accessories. Although some of my favorite accessories are usually shoes, bags, jewelry and of course lipstick, there is a trend that I have been loving since fall: scarves. Now, I have been wearing scarves (more of the larger and blanket variety) for years, but the square, silk scarf is a newer, more trendy scarf for me. And dare I say, oh so chic?
